Don Botanas Panaderia

I noticed that a new panaderia opened up in the area so I decided to pay a visit. This location is shared with the La Fondita restaurant. There's plenty of parking outside. Once you enter the building, there's a sign that directs you to towards the store. I was the only one when I entered the store.

When you enter the store, the left side mainly has groceries (fresh fruit + snacks) and some items you would find in a gas station. Oh the right side, there's a large selection of conchas, pan dulce, cookies, bread rolls, and other items you would find at a panaderia (bakery). Everything seems to be baked fresh daily; I saw an employee putting items in the containers when I entered. I was a little unsure when I entered, but if you know what you want, there's a serving tray and some tongs. Just place your items on the serving tray and take that to the checkout line to grab. I also ordered a Hot Cheetos Elote which they prepared fresh. I'll probably come back to try some other items as it was fairly cheap.

In house made sweet bread is delicious, authentic Mexican.

I am so glad I found this place.

The cookies were great and the churros had cream in them (also great!).

I can’t wait to come back and try the tomales.
