DELICIOUS! I saw this new restaurant a couple weeks ago while trying to find something for dinner but they were closed. So, finally made it. And it did not disappoint. I ordered both the roti canai and crab Rangoon since I couldn't decide. Will absolutely order both again. Decided on the sushi deluxe combo that comes with 4 sushi and a California roll. And the Thai chicken basil. Again...everything looked good. The menu isn't very large but there are plenty of options. The sushi was delicious (Wasabi was on pont!). I subbed the onions and bell peppers for cabbage in the thai basil and had combination with chicken, beef. And shrimp. I also let them know that I had a food allergy and the waitress was made sure there wasn't any cross contamination. The staff was very attentive and made sure I was happy with my order. Unfortunately, there were only 3 other patrons while I was there. I gave atmosphere 4 stars, only because the music that was playing was a little loud. The restaurant was very clean. I don't think they have their alcohol license yet, but I think their business will pick up more once it is. I can't say enough for how great my experience has been. Will definitely come back!
We discovered this little restaurant tonight. It is located in the Best Western Plus on Madison Blvd. We had the chicken Satay for an appetizer, the chicken Katsu, chicken teriyaki, the Eggplant and Tofu stirfry and a mango and coconut milk dessert. All the food was delicious and the staff were very nice! Their food variety includes food from Indonesia, Japan (including sushi), Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and China. I would recommend you visit if you are Near the Madison area!
I noticed this restaurant tucked away near the Best Western Plus. They have a mixture of cuisine from Southeast Asia with a generous vegetarian and vegan selection (clearly marked). I was greeted pleasantly when I entered and offered a choice of seating (booth or table), and informed that today was the 3rd day that they had been open for. They have some tables outside that are presently not open for service, but plan to be in the future. Menus are already at each table and staff are willing to give you additional as well. Prices are fairly standard when compared to similar restaurants. Portions are good as well.
I sampled several different items here. The Thai tea wasn’t excessively sweet and had a good flavor profile. There was a large amount of ice that I wasn’t fond of. I received 5 crab rangoons, which had a good layer of cream cheese and real crab meat. Most restaurants, if not all, I’ve been to have a sweet cream cheese layer. I liked that it was more savory than sweet, and the real crab meat also stood out. It pairs extremely well with the sauce. The chicken satay is out of this world. It’s good enough to eat by itself, and pairs really well with the peanut sauce. The chicken karaage is juicy and has some crunch as well from the breading. The sauce is also a nice touch.
For the main entree, I ordered a Baba Malay Curry Chicken. It had a good amount of spice for the standard customer, and suggested to staff that they have an option to increase spice level for fellow spice lovers. The curry itself was delectable, the chicken, tofu, and vegetable blend was hearty, and I could eat that all day. There was a significant portion of curry compared to rice. I would have wanted the option for brown rice, if possible. For dessert, I ordered an ice jelly. This was totally new for me. It was a gelatinous dessert garnished with mango, pineapple, and a brown sugar syrup. It was not overtly sweet, and the fruit/syrup went well with the jelly.
I plan to come back here for dinner to try the sushi and some of the other items. It seems like a great date night spot. This restaurant introduces a lot of dishes that the Huntsville/Madison area doesn’t have.
Today, my friends and I had the pleasure of trying the exquisite flavors of Southeast Asia at your restaurant on its opening day. The Drunken Noodle, Baba Malay Curry Chicken, and Thai Fried Rice were exceptional, each bursting with authentic taste and perfectly balanced spices. It's evident that your culinary expertise shines through in every dish. Thank you for such a delightful dining experience, and we can't wait to return to savor more of your delicious creations!
Their food is so good!!! It is so Asian! The sushi is really fresh! I’m glad I do the google search to find an Asian place like here! Definitely come back soon!
