“Wow, this was amazing! So glad we came off the highway to find this place. Right when we walked in the door, Cooper welcomed us and made us feel right at home. I was going order off the menu, but when my husband got the gumbo off the buffet, I joined him. The barbecue was well smoked and a little bit spicy, just right. I had delicious greens, beans and yams that weren't too sweet and had just a hint of citrus. Cooper took really good care of us with friendly, attentive service, and checked in to see if we needed anything, napkins, refills on drinks, or plates cleared. He was easy-going and interesting to talk with and made our dinner even more interesting. He's a really good listener and pays attention to details. If he ever decided to get a career in human services, counseling or psychology, he would be highly successful at it! Next time we'll order off the menu, but tonight we leave with full bellies and big smiles.”
