Bob's Downtown Restaurant

I highly recommend this place! It is not very big but the wait is worth it! Brunch was DELICIOUS! You will not be disappointed! And the staff is very attentive and friendly!

My family ate breakfast here while visiting Gulfport. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. Staff was welcoming upon walking in. We chose to sit outside and had a friendly waiter. I had Lee’s French toast, my daughter and husband both had pancakes. I also had a mimosa. We sat outside and enjoyed the weather while eating great food! Would visit again!

This place was awesome. I had Miss Ann’s breakfast of grilled fish, scrambled eggs, avocado, tomatoes, and more. My husband had Miss Julie’s breakfast of pancakes, egg, and bacon. Ambiance on the street corner was a perfect start to our day of travel. Service thoughtful and friendly. Clearly, a local’s fave that made us outsiders feel welcome, too.

Loved the fried green tomatoes, wasn't a big fan of the breakfast sandwich but that's ok. Coffee was good and it was a beautiful day to sit outside. It was sad to leave 85° weather to come home to 45. Soon it will be our permanent home and we will come back and try something new and of course more fried green tomatoes. ;-)

This was a great find foe my breakfast today on my road trip. I had the shrimp and grits and it was amazing! I haven’t had grits in 40 years. Never like them. But thought it was time to give them another try. It was totally worth it. Great! And the staff was great too. Obviously this place has a big local following. They know everyone that comes in so the food and surroundings must be a draw. Totally recommend this place
