The dishes were original but I wish there was more variety to choose from for the broths. The unique flavor combinations can be hit or miss depending on what your preference, but it's definitely worth a try if you're in the area and looking for a good family friendly meal

Wife and I went for the first time this past weekend and our expectations were exceeded! Fantastic food, super cool atmosphere, and very personable service! Highly recommend visiting!

One note: parking right by the restaurant is virtually non-existent, but there is cheap parking not too far away just north on Royal St. It also isn't in the busier part of downtown so you shouldn't have any difficulty getting there and parking unless there is a huge event.

Our order included the Slurp O.G. noodles, one of the most popular menu items. Great flavor, plenty of toppings, and a perfectly-cooked egg. We went with the default meat (roasted pork belly) which was very good, but that can probably be replaced by another meat like chicken kaarage if that's more your speed.

We also decided to go here because of it being Mobtown Burger Week. Slurp Society decided to participate with the K-MAC Burger, consisting of a wagyu beef patty, roasted kimchi and special sauce, pepperjack cheese (which we declined due to being picky), onion, and pickles on a pretzel bun. I was hesitant at first as I had never tried kimchi but was pleasantly surprised as the combination of toppings on the burger worked so well together. There is a burger on the regular menu that sounds somewhat similar so I would highly recommend trying it!

Stupid Ridiculous Good! Kicked off with the Crab Rangoon Nachos. Wow, absolutely amazing. Next was the Slurp O.G. And finally… the Bao Down, chicken Kaarage, Sesame Crab cake and Tempura green Tomato. Very unique twist on Asian cuisine, everything was fantastic. Emily was amazing and helped with choices and explained everything thoroughly. This is a must try Place !!

I love traditional ramen but this had too much flavors going on that it took away from the broth and noodles. The service was great. The staff was friendly and upbeat. Love the atmosphere of this restaurant! They had happy hour specials. There isn’t much parking around the area and there isn’t a parking lot for this restaurant. I found a metered street parking that was free after 5 pm.

As sad as I am to say, I wasn’t too crazy about SS. Maybe it’s just not my cup of tea but in my opinion, they all kinda fell flat on flavors OUTSIDE of the appetizers. The appetizers were FOR SURE the star of the show.

The fried chicken w/ watermelon dish was a 10/10. The chicken had a perfect cook on and was seasoned to perfection and the refreshing watermelon twist to refresh your palette was fantastic. Service was fantastic and our waitress was awesome, we never had to wait on drinks, she always came by to check on us and make sure we were good and she was super friendly.

I gave the atmosphere a 4/5 only because I’m personally not a fan of super dark restaurants especially in older buildings but different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Overall I don’t think we’d be coming back. I spent right at about $125 for everything and the only dish that got ate was the fried chicken appetizer so the other $100 of food just got wasted.
