The Cheese Cottage

I enjoy coming here to have a glass or split a bottle of wine with friends on the patio! The atmosphere is super cute and the wine list is extensive and well priced. The food is really good, but I wish they had more vegan options.

Outdoor seating only. A bit chilly in December; food was delicious. Took a charcuterie board and half bottle of wine togo.

Great atmosphere around downtown Mobile, a darling cottage with a great punch of flavor in every bite. The cheese selection is incredible and the pickles are to die for. Make sure you take some with you on your way home. We took some Vampire Slayer Cheddar and a jar of pickled Green Tomatoes. Yum!

Everytime I through Mobile, I have wanted to stop at The Cheese Cottage. I finally made it and WOW....it was amazing. Downtown historic area was cool and sitting outside on the patio was nice.
I had one of the many cheese boards and a pizza. The goat cheese w/rosemary and honey was the best but the dragon cheese was a close 2nd. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

A hidden gem in Mobile!! I am gluten free and they are very knowledgeable about what you can and cannot have (ingredients matter) and they do have gluten free bread. My husband had the Italian just as it is on the menu and he was seriously impressed with it. The cheeses are so good. We’re headed back to try the charcuterie boards tomorrow.
