“Cannot give two sets of five stars, so 5 stars will have to do. Stopped here this morning and asked the young lady her preference.. the loaded quesadilla with sour cream was wonderfully delicious.. the sour cream was fresh, the pulled pork was soft and well seasoned.. the BBQ shack sauce was just tangy enough to have zing and zest to be sweet and spicy without being too vinegar tasting.. the sweet tea was brilliant.. it was as if it was a tea was made by kool-aid for adults.. Also the young woman running the service window was very polite and promptly got to my order.. she was also very helpful; and I will definitely be returning again.. thank you.”

“We travel frequently and sometimes find one of those unexpectedly remarkable places. This is that place for us. As we walked up, we could smell the inviting aroma and reminded us of a really good backyard BBQ. When the food arrived at our table, it was served with the exact same backyard BBQ theme. I always have to try the Brunswick stew everywhere we go. I've been on a quest for the best and the good Lord has certainly blessed this family with the stew making wizardry. It was so full of flavor and generous smoked meats and chunky potatoes like none I have ever found searching the East Coast from Maryland down to Florida. But now we know. It's been hiding in small town Alabama. And would you just look at this chicken? It's so juicy and tender with such incredible smoky flavor. I didn't want to stop eating it, but there was still pineapple pudding! Exactly like my grandma used to make into a whipped pineapple pie when I was a kid. You must try this place, it's to die for, not literally, but at least I was already in heaven, so I wouldn't have far to travel 😂”

“This place was very busy on a MONDAY night! I ordered the fajitas with extra steak. The fajitas came out of the kitchen in ten minutes served sizzling hot. The $5 upcharge for the extra meat was worthwhile because I received about a pound of sizzling sliced steak to put on my tortillas. The service here was very attentive. This place definitely serves authentic Mexican cuisine.”

“Where shall I begin? Well, I ordered the chopped sirloin aka..hamburger steak. The meat itself was barely warm and some of the gravy on top actually had cold spots in it. Now let's move on to my wife's dish, shrimp and grits. She ordered them with blackened shrimp. The shrimp were a little salty but we'll cooked. The cheese grits on the other hand were completely bland and the only cheese in the grits was a huge blob of melted cheddar on top. The restaurant is nice, our service was good but I feel that the food was definitely sub-par and with a bill and tip over $60 definitely not worth it.”
