Ixtapa Bar & Grill

This was my first time visiting Ixtapa. Me and some co-workers were trying to find a new place to eat at, and decided to give this spit a try. We were not disappointed. It did take a long time for our order to be taken, but it was a busy Thursday night. All four of us were pleased with our meals. I had a chicken chimichanga, and the chicken was seasoned. The rice was a little dry, but a little salsa made it just right. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in the area.

I love this place. The food is great however some of the servers can be rude. Went there with a group from work. More people came so we asked for a bigger table. Once we moved no one would help us. I went up front to ask if someone could get the rest of our tables order and refill the drinks of those of us that had already been there. No one came. One of my coworkers went back up and one of the waiters said, "Ain't my job. " and was really rude to her so argued back and got kicked out. Our table waited another 15 minutes and when no one even came to get their drink order they left. It should have never gotten so bad. We were not not or rude we just waited forever.

I love this restaurant, My Sorority Sister and I frequent it often. We really enjoy the food and service there; however, I am very disappointed that you guys stopped serving flavored margaritas. The Mango, Blackberry and Strawberry and Margaritas were our favorite. I hope that you guys will re-think your decision and bring back the flavored items. I am not a huge fan of the regular margaritas.

We had a large party (10+) for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. Expecting that they would be busy, we attempted to make a reservation but were told they don't take reservations. However, they did a great job of seating us without a long wait. Our waiter was prompt in getting our drinks, but took a while to come back for our food order. As always, the food was served quickly and did not disappoint.

Went for a for late lunch/ early supper. Found the place's ambience quiet with soft, but lively music in the background. Our meals were delivered quickly and looking delicious. We were not disappointed. The sizes were sufficient to ask for takeout boxes.
