Pies & Pints - Montgomery, AL

Great food. Fast & friendly service. Great place for lunch. My choice was the simple salad w/ grilled chicken and (1) slice of pizza. Everything was hot & fresh. Environment was nice, tv and excellent choice of music.

We really enjoyed this place. The menu wasn't boring, the food had great flavor, the atmosphere was laid-back, and our server managed our HUGE group really well. The wait for our food was reasonable considering the size of our party and how busy the restaurant was. The call-ahead experience for our group was not what we had been promised, or otherwise Pies & Pints would've earned 5 stars. If we ever visit Montgomery again, we'll probably return to Pies & Pints.

My son ordered the potato skins for an appetizer and I ordered the wings. He loved his and I loved mine. The portion sizes are huge, though. He ordered pizza for his meal and I had a half portion steak salad that was huge. We took the left overs home and they were enjoyed by my daughter. Service was amazing. It is a really cool place with good eats.

Here for dinner for the first time. Plenty of seating at 5 PM both inside and outside, but chose outside as it was very noisy inside due to a number of large groups.

Great selection of beers and the beer menu gives an very good description of each one. Beers and water ordered, we skipped appetizers and ordered house salads, a spinach salad and a simple salad. These are large enough to be a meal in themselves. I had the simple salad - fresh and crispy greens with red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and creamy Gorgonzola dressing that was not overpowering.

Three pizzas ordered, a large half "Steak and Mushrooms" and the other half "Hot Mama." A small gluten free "Chicken Gouda. And a large "Classic." All arrived hot and with a nice crispy and flavorful crust. Everyone at our table was happy with the pizzas. Our server did an excellent job getting our order, serving and checking on us. Will be back.
