“We just happened to stop and try this place on a whim. It has an unusual array of tacos, tamales, street food and their ever popular fried chicken. Yep... it’s Mexican southern cooking combined. Before you poo poo it, try it. One of us had fish tacos-assembly required. Everything was fresh including the corn tortillas. I had the fried chicken with their smashed potatoes and street corn. It was flavorful and the chicken was very crispy. They do have a kids menu if you ask. Wes, our server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose our meals. We chose wisely.”

Huge servings, good show on the grill, staff's birthday celebration is actually fun and engaging, grill chefs step outside the norm and have engaging games or activities. “Love their orange chicken! At the time of my visit the store was brand new, obviously new untrained people working. Food was cold and they ran out of fried rice dispite 13 people back there working. People in the back also had obvious cuts on their hands and were handing food with no gloves on.. I think with time though they will get it together. I love their food too much for them to let me down!”

“Went on day one. A good mix of food from which to choose. I was welcomed like I was at Moe's but was quickly forgotten as the line was pretty long. Ended up behind a group of employees that were ordering food and customizing their order, which was kind of annoying. The time to get food was reasonable, I felt. The main problem, however, was when I got home, my steak shawarma platter was overly salty and not much hummus was given. My daughter noted her food was overly salty as well. I may return in a month or two when things quiet down and try it again. I really want this option in Montgomery.”

“We arrived at the Pub about 6:30 and it was very crowded. We went into the bar area and a couple were just leaving the bar so we took their seats. The bar tender was so friendly and suggested we just sit at the bar and have our meal. So we did. Enjoyed our martinis and a great steak dinner without any wait! Great place. Wish we had on where we live. Would definately return for another visit if and when we are in the area.”

“Good food. Not the best of the best as far as private Mexican restaurants, but good service and a good meal. Flavor is King for me .. I ordered the chicken plate with cheese sauce, rice, onions & mushrooms. I missed in the salsa (from my chips) which was good and it added to the dishes flavor. If I had s compliant it would be that the chicken breast is sliced in half, giving two very thin pieces. On one hand, it's think and a bit dry. On the other hand, it comes out quickly because it Cooks quickly and honestly tasted good, or else I would give a lower rating. If you're in the area, get some.”

“We saw Osaka’s. Ok, Japanese food will answer our craving. I ordered the hibachi chicken. On my plate was delicious moist rice, grilled veggies like zucchini, mushrooms, onions, broccoli and carrots, chicken and what looked like some kind of noodles. And then there was a sauce which I shall call Yum Yum Sauce. I don’t know what they call it but I poured it all over my plate and it made me say Yum Yum! On a down side the chicken was over cooked and dry. Yum Yum to the rescue!”

“An Okay place. The setting/location is nice, and the live entertainment is good. Food is not that great. Examples: Wings are small, onion rings are small, not very well breaded. Taste is okay, not great. They say it's "home style", but I think that's just an excuse for them to be made not so good, but make you think you are getting something great. Prices seem to be a little higher than what you pay elsewhere for comparable items. A good time can be had, people are nice, service can be a bit slow, but probably should consider coming here after dining elsewhere.”

“After coming from a horrible BK restaurant in Hope Hull this was very pleasing. The attendants even asked us a name for the order which was nice. Clean facility, clean bathrooms, the soda station was clean and filled properly. Saw an employee checking the freshness of the teas. Everyone had gloves on while handling food. Restaurant area was swept and clean. The play area was clean as well. My family and I were very pleased with this location!”

“My family and I were displaced for a couple of days when Hurricane Michael hit us a year ago (10/10/2018, so this was maybe 10/11 or 10/12). We drove to Montgomery to stay with some family and the first night there we came across this place. The kids love pizza. Bill helped me out. I had never even tried a Hungry Howie's, and I hate that I waited this long to remember to do this review. He walked me through the menu and he even helped with the specials to save me some money. I had told him about our ordeal, and he made sure it was cooked hot and fresh. The food was still piping hot by the time I got back to the residence I was staying out and there was nothing but satisfied mouths. Don't get me wrong, Hungry Howie's isn't going to be the most authentic Italian experience or necessarily the best pizza, but this little joint was good and the price was right. The customer service was definitely on point that night. I appreciate Bill and Hungry Howie's for the hot meal.”
