Metro Diner

My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast today and it was a great experience. The atmosphere was cute and felt homey which is hard to find in a big city like Birmingham. We had Bryan as our server and he was phenomenal. He's definitely a pro. The food was also delicious and came in large portions. Definitely visiting here again!

Wonderful local town diner. The food is abundant and very good. The service is excellent. This is a great place for informal meetings over a meal or just to grab a good meal. Prices are reasonable and the portions are large.

Came in with a large party. Not a long wait to be seated. The diner is not huge, so waiting for a table is common. The service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Large menu, daily specials. Plenty of parking. It can be a bit noisy, but you can still talk without shouting. Worth a visit.

First visit- Cinnamon Roll Pancakes are thee BEST!! I also like that they text you the app to keep you updated on how many guests are ahead of you/wait time. That way, you don't have to sit/stand around waiting. Our waiter was extra helpful and patient too. All around great place!!

I tried the corned beef hash. The menu said that it was cooked in house. There was a nice spice and the potatoes were well cooked. I had two perfectly poached eggs and rye toast. Everything came out hot and my server Alexeander was friendly. The booth cushion was too hard. I know this is a small thing , but I really dislike Heinz mustard, that’s what they serve. The openness is appealing as well as the lighting. I would recommend this diner to anyone. I will try lunch.
