“St. Clair food is delicious, Caesar salad is the best I’ve had in a long time, it’s chopped fine, dressing is so so good, crab claws is fried golden and pretty (they r big) very meaty I couldn’t stop eating them. Waitress, super sweet (Jane) we asked could we see a Manager food was so delicious, Shawn was complemented highly from myself and daughter, Shawn was very nice and super friendly. “I had such a wonderful dining experience in this nice establishment for lunch today .. I took my off day and decided to explore the new shops downtown( I know, I’m late, it was past time) . From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with smiles and hellos!! The menu choices were great, I went with the bagel sandwich with turkey chips and let me tell you about the prickly pear lemonade that was suggested by one of the employees 😍😍 it was so dang good!! The ambiance was something I haven’t experienced in a while the books on the walls and the creeks from the floor man I loved it !! I will definitely be back !! Thank you all for the hospitality!!”

“Prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants in the area. Wide variety of options. I stick to combination dinners when trying new places but beware burrito/enchilada portions are SMALL than other places. Really disappointed considering my family ordered something very close in price and got much larger burritos than I got. Confusing/inconsistent. Salsa was average, kinda watery, not even close to being mild, chips were okay. I don't drink but my parents said the margaritas were good and they have flavors and pitchers which is something other Mexican restaurants in the area don't offer. Service was pretty standard. It was a Friday and being new the place was slammed but it could've been better. Food quality was pretty good overall. Place was kinda loud but again it was packed. Music is nice but the same bass beat repetively thumping was too much. I think a wall in the middle dividing the room could help the atmosphere be more private/less noisy but that's just me. They do things their way, which is different but I'd put this place pretty much in the middle of the road for me. Others may disagree, everyone is entitled to their opinions, check it out and decide for yourself.”

“Wait staff did an outstanding job when we stopped by this morning. Drink glasses were never empty and they checked on us on a regular basis. Very friendly and professional. My wife had smoked turkey and brisket plate and I had brisket plate. Our sides were Mac and cheese and fries. We both agreed that for the meats, the sliced turkey was the best of the two meats. Extremely moist, cooked perfectly and outstanding flavor. The brisket plate I had, while had a decent flavor lacked any kind of seasoning (salt and pepper) and even though it was a very generous portion, alot of what I had was fat. Not the smoky, seared type but rather internal fat that I would have preferred not to have been there. But that being said, flavor was still decent. Mac and cheese was really creamy and smooth and again, large portion served. I would definitely recommend August's and we will return to try other meats also. Give them a shot!”

“Always a pleasure. Order was placed quickly and easily. Store was spotless on both sides of the counter. The parking lot and driveway were spotless too. Our order was rather large. We had 14 sandwiches, 8 orders of waffle fries, a couple of boxes of tenders, drinks, shakes and who knows what else. Each item was served exactly as ordered. Conversation ceased at our tables when the food arrived. Other than growls when folks were seen trying to SNITCH from other plates we were down to the business of eating our stuff. As we began to finish our dinner we resumed the loving banter that has bound us together for many years. When the final milkshake was finished our goodbyes were said. We will return to this place and gather again.... soon.”
