Talladega Speedway

Talladega has the International Motorsports Hall of Fame Museum that was so interesting for adults and kids alike. The superspeedway is almost unreal in size at 2.66 miles with 33 degrees of banking. It is a surreal experience to see stock cars race at this track.

It was fun we are not die hard fans of racing or anything like that we like dirt track but my son just loves fast cars so this was for him. I enjoyed all the Earnhardt stuff and he loved the tour of the track it wasn't very busy on Sunday when we got there so we had the whole place to ourselves so the tour was really us just learning the whole history of the track which is actually really neat. If your around here and dont wanna tour the museum that's fine but definitely pay the 5 bucks for the shuttle bus tour lol.

What a party!
3 huge campground's with washroom and shower facilities. Plenty of garbages. Daily firewood, water and ice delivery. Also, a handy shuttle service to get you anywhere on the massive property.

The race event itself is a well oiled machine. Lines move quickly, seats are easy to find, washrooms are clean, a ton of souvenir shops, staff is helpful and friendly and the views are all good.

They do sell beer at concessions but you can bring in your own drinks too.

Looking forward to going back next year.

We loved everything about this place except for the food prices but it was awesome

Well today my son and went to the museum it was very interesting and they have a good surprise if you take a tour with it for $16 it's well worth it and I have a lot of information that you need to learn about Talladega Speedway. ? ? Put did some one turn the gas on the hotwater heater for the shower. Around the track. Like. A B C area.
