    My first time at August's after having it recommended by several people to me. I went with the ribs and they were very good. The sauce is on the side so you can decide how much you want. The service was friendly with everyone being helpful. It's a very laid back place to grab a meal and a few drinks while you watch the game.

    Best BBQ joint in the area, ribs were delicious, falling off the bone. Service was also great. Keep up the work.

    If you want good smoked or barbecue meat visit August's Barbecue on hwy 280 between Sylacauga and Childersburg. Their ribs are exceptional and so tender. I recommend the ribs, chicken and turkey. Try the vegetable of the day, always good. And sweet tea!

    Food is really good. Nice place to eat inside or out side has a live band on weekends. Staff very friendly and helpful. Has a 96 rating from health department. I will be going back.

    Great food and atmosphere for I love the outdoor dining. Love the live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The staff and owners are the best in town. Also love the added steak dinner on Saturday nights, the best you’ve ever eaten.
    The homemade cake desserts are wonderful, great selection, too.
