“I'll start out by saying the food was amazing! Presentations were fabulous, food was fresh, well prepared and seasoned perfectly. The Gyoza (steamed pork dumplings) were tender and flavorful, spring rolls were crispy outside and not greasy, and the sushi was phenomenal. Highly recommend the Black Dragon Roll and the Fire Holiday Roll. The General Tso Chicken was spot on and stayed crispy in the sauce. Due to it being the Grand Opening weekend we expected the service to be a little slow and have taken that into account in this review. We were greeted promptly upon entering and had very little wait to be seated even though they were very busy. The reason I marked down for service was that our server walked past our table at least a dozen times without even acknowledging us (not even glancing at us) and someone else had to come take our drink order after no less than 15 minutes - to where the other employee pointed out to her we had been waiting a long time. Our appetizer came out with the meal, and we had to flag our server down for a missing item. A server from another section was the one to check if we needed any refills and brought us our check, even though our section was nearly empty at this point, because our server was no where to be seen. Prices were very reasonable, especially given the portion sizes. Other than the issues with the one server the rest of the staff was great! They were all friendly and personable. We will definitely be back. Party of 3.”

“Smokey's. Is inside a store. But has really great hamburgers. And excellent hamburger steaks. The cashier is very friendly and polite. It is a small simple establishment with some of the best burgers in sylacauga.”

“We enjoyed our visit very much. The food was great and so was the service. It was a little pricey for lunch, but overall it was good and I'm sure we will be back. We spent $52 for three people for lunch (not counting the tip), and no appetizers.”

“We really liked this place. Good service. Great food with their own twist. For example the potato salad had bacon and cheese, and the lemon aioli on the Farmer's Daughter sandwich both were different takes on cafe staples. We wanted to try many other menu items but just didn't get a chance.”

“Really great coffee. Slightly heavy on the sweet stuff for my taste so if you prefer more of a coffee taste opt for an espresso shot in your coffee. The sausage bites and brownies were great as well. Definitely suggest visiting if you're wanting at the hospital for the day.”

“Fantastic food and service. I had the grilled chicken sandwich combo ($11.00) and my wife had the double hamburger ($12.00). Both were large and very delicious. Milo's has changed since the last time I ate at one of their restaurants. It is truly an awesome place now!”

“Had one of the best meals with fantastic service a couple months ago. The food was undoubtedly fresh (it's pretty easy to tell the difference between fresh and "freshly frozen" ????), as were the condiments. We drove all the way from Birmingham to eat at this restaurant; I wish it was closer! I see that the negative reviews come from: 1. Someone who has left only 2 reviews ever, and neither was complimentary. I'm guessing he has bad days often. 2. Someone with an axe to grind because her mama 'used to' work there. I'll bet she still lives at home with Mama, and can't form her own unbiased opinions. I know this for a fact: this restaurant gives back to the community AND they take care of their own. I look forward to eating there again and would recommend that establishment to anyone visiting from out of town, and anyone who might be in that area.”

“Nothing wrong with the food at all. My favorite burger place. The staff isn't good at all though. Last time we went there, they acted like they didn't want to be there & stood around making me wait to order. Called cooperate, so maybe it's better now.”

“If you enjoy steak, onions, and green peppers try #48. Two burritos with above covered in cheese sauce. Served with rice or refried beans plus lettuce, tomatoes, etc... Always fantastic. I get frustrated with people's comments about their communication, bottom line is most of the people at this restaurant are family and don't speak English well. So be it, they cook real good and usually fast.”

“Stopped by on a Sunday, they were having a buffet but we were not that hungry so we ordered off the menu. Our food was fabulous! The staff was great too! The owner even stopped by our table and offered us a cupcake off the buffet for dessert, Wow! We will definitely be back with our husbands!”

“Food is good, service is good, buffet style, only wait is in the checkout line. This restaurant has been around Sylacauga for a long time and deserves recognition for their longevity. Definitely recommended.”

“The food was good and hot but the Chicken Fingers were very small. The Fries were good and hot though and there was a generous helping of them. The Oreo Blizzard was also very good. Nice size for an adult. I would recommend that they add a child size to the menu though. The blizzard was originally bought for my son but there was no way he could finish that size blizzard after a meal.”

“Best wings in town. Great quesadillas, Alfredo, heart attack and generally everything I've ate has been great. A little slow in the busier times, but a go to favorite of mine.”

“I had just left Wendy's right down the street because when I pulled up to the drive-through they tried to push something on me that I didn't order so I left there went straight to McDonald's!! The service at McDonald's was efficient, professional with no haggling and they weren't trying to get me to buy something that I was not interested in!! Not to mention my food was ready when I got to the window and the employees were very professional and well-mannered!! I will be back”

“Amazing! Buttermilk Hill Restaurant was wonderful! The food was so delicious and for what you get I thought the prices were very reasonable! I would highly recommend the New York strip! The restaurant itself was beautiful and restored! The staff was very friendly as well and really helped us understand the menu! Very nice little restaurant for a sweet date night!”
