Wharf Casual Seafood Alexander City

Was so excited to finally get a chance to eat at this restaurant. Was disappointed by my choice to get fried oysters. They had no seasonings to them and were under cooked. Stay away from the cheese grits....I was informed that you get them by the ounce and not dozen when fried... Go figure. On the other hand the hush puppies and blacken shrimp was very good. I also found the young lady that took my order was rude. Our server was a sweet older lady and was really great so It was mixed review for me.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere! Had an extremely friendly employee that easily explained the menu items named Meredith.. food was great loved the hushpuppies!

Amazing seafood at a reasonable price. This is not your typical sit down seafood restaurant. When you enter you go to the left to the ordering counter to place your order, pay and then take a seat...the staff will take it from there. We ordered the Crispy Snapper Entree (with Cole Slaw and Fries) and the Crispy Shrimp Entree (with Red Beans & Rice and Gouda Cheese Grits). Everything was cooked perfectly and not over-salted. Serving sizes were good for the price and the staff was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Alexander City.
