“We went to La Barritas Mexican restaurant which is attached to the store on the end. I will give it a solid 5 star rating and I have ate at many great Mexican restaurants over the years. The food service comes piping hot, quick and the presentation is spot on. A superior selection of well thought out menu items. “We’ve driven by for several months because it’s in the back of a convenient store/gas station and weren’t sure about the food quality. Well, now we know it’s amazing! I had fajitas that were better than any I’ve had anywhere and my husband had street tacos that he loved. He’s from Texas and has very high standards where Mexican food is concerned. We loved it!!”

“Out of town on vacation from Louisiana. Great pizza, the crust was cooked perfect. Myself, wife, son (4 yo. Not picky ), daughter (8 yo. Very picky) all loved it. The only thing we wish is that they had one near our house. We ordered a half pepperoni half cheese and a half mushroom half cheese. The sauce was very flavorful as well. We picked up the pizza to go.”

The salad taste very good; however, between the large pieces of lettuce and large chicken strips, it is sometimes very difficult to eat. This salad used to be prepared with lettuce torn into small pieces and the chicken in bite size pieces as well. Would love to see that in my bowl again!”

“A group of 3 of us visited recently on a Friday night before a Dadeville football game. Was crowded but we were still seated and served promptly. We were told the cheese balls were a must order and they certainly delivered. The accompanying sauce made them even better The others got the catfish plate (which was a special that evening) and loved it. I got a chicken dish which was excellent as well. Waitress was excellent. A great meal, followed by a great football win. Excellent Friday night. Will be a must stop from now on while traveling 49.”

“Eaten here twice now. The first time was underwhelming due to mediocre food and decidedly pooor service. However, we decided to give the place another chance and returned today. Good thing we did as the food was good/very good and the service was excellent. The brisket was terrific; smoky and tender but just a tiny bit on the dry side. Maybe they should keep the smoker five degrees cooler. The service was very attentive and friendly, and she made good menu suggestions.”

“I must say since a new management has taken over the customer service has been wonderful!!!The young lady who took my order was very sweet and nice..I believe her name was Demisha she said but anyway if no one else knows how make a prefect sandwich well she does..I never seen an employee since I been eating here ever put the oil,vinger,salt and pepper on the vegetables like she did.Sandwich was very well presented and wasn’t messy looking.Store always cleans and smelling fresh!!!”
