Marble Slab Creamery & Great American Cookies

We went in at about 45 minutes until closing, and every single worker here was kind and bubbly. They had outstanding customer service and just all around good energy. It’s so unlike what my husband and I are used to dealing with where we live— which is typically lazy, rude, and inattentive workers. This was such a good and fun 10 minute experience we have had in a service industry in so long. Whoever you guys are, thanks so much! Oh, and the ice cream is fantastic. Even if it wasn’t, the service was amazing enough that it wouldn’t matter.

My trip to Marble Slab was a family trip that almost cause me to melt my ice cream. When we entered, there were about 4 or young ladies behind the counter but only 2 was really working. 2 of the young ladies were talking and after seeing my children come in, they look at each other and one acted like she was cleaning and the other went to the back like she was looking for something. I was immediately upset and if I had not had my children with me, I would have walked out. However, there is a happy ending, one of the ladies who was working must have noticed and greeted us and said, with a smile, I’ll take care of you. She was really pleasant and filled our orders and put smiles on my babies faces. I wish I would have got her name so that she could be recognized. I hope she got the tip I left and it wasn’t split.

Great new place in Northport. Many choices of ice cream and cookies. Ice cream cakes are available as well. Be patient, the staff is just learning and it’s very busy. Worth the wait!

Took my kids there a couple days after opening. Despite being slammed, they were very helpful and clean! The only disappointing thing - I ordered a cookie ice cream sandwich and the ice cream was so soft, it all fell out after one bite! It was still delicious though! Prices were better than a lot of other similar places in the area. All 4 of us got something different (medium cup of ice cream, medium shake, cookie sandwich and waffle cone), and it was $18. The kids were happy! We'll be back.
