“Hidden gem. Small family run restaurant with friendly service. Small but varied menu, bottle beer and margaritas. This is tucked in attached to the Ingram Farms Ice Cream Shop. Went here with the family. Wife and son each had chicken fajitas, daughter had chicken tacos with rice and beans, I had beef and rice bowl. All came out quickly with obviously fresh cold components. Despite few other customers the rice was not dried out nor was it mushy. Salsa appeared to be made there with plenty of fresh cilantro. It was quite mild which was good for the kids. The single bathroom was tidy and smelled of cleaner, not perfumed in a cover up attempt. Great experience for a close to home quick dinner. We'll do it again.”

“My daughter and I ate here yesterday around 2. The staff was friendly. It wasn't busy and our soup came out fast and very hot. I got the broccoli and cheese, she got the chicken tortilla soup. We both enjoyed them, although the chicken tortilla soup had a real kick of heat after eating it about halfway through. Just be prepared for spicy. We relaxed at a regular table but they also have high tables, no booths.”

We asked for several things, and not once did they appear to be disturbed that we stopped them. WOW. We had a big burger, it was really good, kinda plain, but most folks don't like seasoning like I do. Sweet potato fries were excellent, regular fries were bland (seasoning again). I'm ready to go back and try their steak. This is old school good.”

“Cypress Inn was closed so we decided to do my niece graduation luncheon here. I must say I was impressed with my food. We had Crispy Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp and Fried Crab Claws as an appetizer. My catfish entree was very tasty. The greens were okay and the mac and cheese was very good. All in all, great atmosphere, great server and great food!”

“I LOVE this Chinese buffet, it is my favorite in this area. There is always a great selection and varsity of food and it always tastes excellent. HOWEVER, the last time we were in, I asked if they would be open for Thanksgiving and they told us "Yes". So here on Thanksgiving, we go there and they are closed. We ended up somewhere else that was less than satisfactory.”

For Lunar New Year and Valentine's day, other tables got a little free dessert or a Lunar New Year packet. We just get the check.”
