Wow! Lots of good food after a BAMA basketball game. Great service and atmosphere. They have a organized system of waiting on customers and getting food out fast.
Wonderful staff. Bring a little cash to tip, because they earn it but you can't put it on a cc. Catfish is done well, loved the vinegar- based coleslaw! ????????????????
And how nice it was to see a memory of the late, great Kobe Bryant on the wall. As well as hear the stories of his warmth and kindness.
Nothing to write home about. Humdrum Beef Brisket. It was dry and flavorless. Their Chow Chow topping made it better. Sweet and hot Chow Chow, and they say it's Award Winning. It's good! Their Onion Rings are humongous, and are pretty good! When I have Beef Brisket, I like it to be juicy and flavorful. Nice clean restaurant, with helpful staff. They tried their best to help me connect to the "free" WiFi, but it was down. So, don't expect to actually connect to free WiFi.
I was very disappointed that they had no BBQ sauce that I could eat. Their special BBQ sauce had gluten in it. We drove from an hour and a half away (granted we didn't drive all that way just to try this restaurant - but MAN I was really craving some good BBQ!) Fortunately, they do have deliciously loaded giant baked potatoes. If we ever visit again, I will take my own gluten-free sauce.
This is a fast food bbq restaurant on McFarland Blvd in Tuscaloosa. Stopped in last night and really enjoyed it, would definitely go back. It's reasonably priced and tastes great.
Pictures include the loaded baker, kids burger w/ fries, homemade chili, and the brisket plate. Loved the brisket plate, would definitely get that again, hopefully they won't be out of collards next time.
