“I have been to the restaurant on multiple occasions. The experience has always been positive. I was very much blown away by the octopus. The chef cooked the octopus to perfection and reminded me of dishes I have had while living abroad. The dessert menu is also to die for. The souffle was amazingly rich and tasty! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants a taste of being in Europe (without having to fly there).”

“A solid addition to Tuscaloosa's restaurant scene, for when you want Italian but don't want to wait an hour for a table at DePalma's. Delicious eggplant parm with a spicy kick, and bruschetta that wasn't too crusty or too chewy. The chicken marsala was fair - a bit bland and heavy. There are vegetarian options in addition to chicken, veal, and fish. Really, the focus is on pasta - no pizza, no burgers or chicken fingers. Just good basic Italian cuisine. Atmosphere is a bit spare, not too fancy but nice enough for night out. Attentive service. Room for improvement, but it is great to have another place to get a good Italian meal downtown.”

“First time eating at Dillard’s, and from the moment we walked in we were met with very friendly staff. We felt very welcomed and at home. Our waitress May was very kind and affable. She took very good care of us. Of course the food is what everyone really wants to know about, and I have to say, it was fantastic. Everything we had tasted delicious, and the cocktails were great. Would absolutely come back again.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Loco Lupes, a fantastic Mexican restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant and cozy ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The menu offered a delightful array of Mexican dishes, and I couldn’t resist starting with their homemade guacamole and salsa, which were bursting with fresh flavors. For my main course, I ordered the Quesobarria Tacos, and it was a true masterpiece. The combination of spices and ingredients created a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. What truly impressed me was the attentive and friendly staff. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured that my dining experience was top-notch. The margaritas were also exceptional and perfectly complemented the meal. I can’t wait to return to Loco Lupes to explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican cuisine served with a warm atmosphere and outstanding service, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. It’s a true gem in the world of Mexican dining.”

“It’s some of the best ice cream and cookies I’ve ever had. You also get a lot for the price, so I definitely think it’s worth it. They also have some pretty cool flavors that change every month.”

“A couple of weeks ago I piled my friends in the car and we took a trip to Tuscaloosa to try the new Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant. I have to say that I really enjoyed myself here I was in heaven we splurged a bit and got both the hot pot and Korean bbq. We ended up nearly try a little bit of everything. You could go up to a buffet table and get whatever you want as much as you want from appetizer type food and they even had all types of sauces to chose from. At your table they give you a table to order all your hotpot and bbq items. Needless to say we took advantage of this ordering our broths and all the meat we possibly could order. I highly recommend checking this place out. Get you a group of people and just go and enjoy yourself. For a chain hotpot place this wasn't too bad and I'll definitely go again. I didn't go into too much detail because we ordered so much and I'd be typing all day but trust me when I say check this place out! 4/5 KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot - Tuscaloosa”

“Money's worth buffet! I visited for lunch dining. My first priority was trying the Korean BBQ in the buffet. There was only one Korean marinated pork BBQ for lunch (You can see photos), but the taste was good. I didn't expect much variety given the price, but there were many different foods to try. It's pay first and serve yourself everything. The restaurant is much easier to navigate than KPOT buffet (It was complicated for me at first). The staff were generally nice. I should try the Hibachi, but I was already so full from other food. I need to go again for dinner to see how different the menu is compared to lunch.”

“My friend and I have been here twice now and this is what I have learned: 1. The food is great! Anything authentic from the menu always tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and leaves you happily full. 2. The drinks are also good. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed their regular margaritas, especially during happy hour when they are 50% off. 3. The service is horrible! No matter if they are busy or not, they are slow to take orders. They are not attentive when taking orders (my friend and I have both not been served water even when we asked). No one checks on your table throughout the meal, so if you run out of water, chips, or salsa, good luck flagging someone down to get more. Lastly, the kitchen must not talk to the wait staff. We've repeatedly been served wrong dishes or had parts of our dishes forgotten. At first I thought it was the place being busy the first time, but after our second visit, it is clear no one here is urgent nor pays that much attention to their customers.”

“I went last Friday to try both courses the Blue and Black courses. Very happy with the experience. I went midday to avoid the afternoon crowds but if looking for something simple and fun to do in Tuscaloosa, definitely worth doing to play some rounds of putt putt.”

“Delicious food and excellent customer service. Kadek, our server, was great! I recommend the volcano roll. I got it without without eel sauce. Definitely one of the top ten rolls I've ever eaten! This restaurant is a hidden gem. Update: I went back with my family and everyone enjoyed it!! In my opinion, This is definitely one of the best sushi restaurants!!”
