If you like Gyros this is a good eat. The fries looked burnt, but they said that is how they usually look. If you add cheese to the fries it make a world of difference. Over all the food was good I added the pepper jelly to my Gyros and it just gave it some extra tang!! The staff we very pleasant and the wait was not long at all.
We visited this place from Canada! Dropped in before the Soundgarden show in May 2017. Saw Chris Cornell 12 days before he passed. So every memory of Tuscaloosa is bittersweet and surreal. And cherished. What a beautiful town. Far exceeded what we may have expected
Overall, great place! Good food, cool atmosphere, and friendly staff. They have some of the best falafel I've ever had! They also have truly great mixed veggies. My only complaint would be that their fries have been a little inconsistent (some burnt). One of my favorite places!
Visited on a Sunday afternoon at around 2:30pm. I was THE ONLY person in the restaurant. Found that a bit strange, especially on a nice sunny, summer afternoon.
I got their most popular Gyro Pita deal which came with fries and a drink. The Gyro meat was a combo of Beef and Lamb. Meat was good and the Pita was good. The Fries I did not care for. They were more like Potato logs. Too thick and not really crispy and also did not have enough spice on them.
The lady at the counter was quite helpful and very descriptive of what the Pita includes.
Very excited! The food was not EXACTLY like the authentic Greek, but I was pleasantly surprised. They also have baklava, even though it's not on the menu. Professional service, slightly overpriced, and can't confirm that it was ACTUALLY lamb, but color me impressed. Got a little extra desert. :)
