I got a large pepperoni pizza and it was excellent! The crust was crisp with great chew to it. The homemade marinara and pasta were great also. I can’t wait for them to fully open.
I was a bread & sweets baker for years, the development of the crust has led to a stellar product! The bottom of the pizza can take a tiny bit of char for flavour and the crust has an exterior crisp and soft interior. Sauce is bright and simple without much herbs. Cheese offers salt and more depth.
My son and wife loved it and then I took more to friends playing poker and we all loved it too!
I am a Type 1 Diabetic and eating pizza can be an ordeal. This is the first time in years that I ate pizza and craved more the next day.
Had my first taste of TuscNY today before they officially open. It was divine. The crust was a good mix of crisp and soft/chewy. I believe I could actually eat a cheese pizza, if from here, because the cheese and sauce were that good. Can't wait for TuscNY to open. I will be a guest for sure. Don't miss this new addition to Tuscaloosa. Such a welcome new eatery for this side of the river!
So excited that TuscNY is close to opening in Tuscaloosa! Dan does such heartfelt yummy pizza. Their Detroit style is awesome! Have watched his search and study for pizza perfection on Facebook for the last year! Great ingredients plus heart equals great pizza!!!
I cannot wait until this restaurant opens! My husband saw where they were giving out samples and he went by and picked us up 4 slices. It was a New York style pizza and it was absolutely delicious!
I’ve been to Italy and New York so I’ve had delicious pizza. I was happy to taste the New York and Italian pizza again from the pizza at TuscNY. It was crispy all the way through and tasted like an authentic Italian pizza.
We will definitely be regulars when TuscNY opens.
