“So I have 2 part review to leave, but here's the summary. Don't eat the buffet here but get take out because it's delicious. Every time we come here to sit down and have some food from the buffet, we take a look at the selection and we quickly remember why we only order to go. The buffet is questionable at best. It honestly looks to me like it's stocked with either failed dishes that were too overcooked to send out as orders, or they're training a new chef who has no idea how to cook. It's either drastically overdone or under. Even the rice just looks tired of existing. But the good news! Their take out is fantastic. Made fresh to order, they can make you just about anything. My family eats plant based so we always order the tofu to share with them and it's amazing. I don't even miss meat when they make their delicious sesame tofu. Someday I hope to walk in and see a delicious fresh buffet but until then, I'll just stick to ordering to go.”

“Once again...new diner opens in that location and the first 3 carry outs for breakfast were Amazing...hot, fresh, homemade biscuits and hot, fresh, moist sausage cooked perfectly. 4th carry out- biscuits are still good but the sausage patties are tough, dry, overcooked and taste like they've been sitting in a warmer for hours just drying out...its a shame...you really should set a time limit for use..I paid same amount as the person who got the first ones of the day. Quality counts!”

“Solid family-run style lunch spot today serving up yummy decent portions of Southern fare quickly and reasonably-priced from friendly servers. Spacious cozy interior with ample parking outside and a location just off the main road on the fringe of town. Drove up from Jasper for an errand and knew soon as I passed it that I'd be hitting it up afterwards rather than eating any franchise stuff further in town. Will be back.”

“The first time I eat here was Friday 6-25-21 . This place has the real deal biscuits I'm talking home maid HUGE cat head biscuits and they taste like a 90 year old grandma from Alabama made them. (fluffy & fall apart) I had 2 bacon egg cheese biscuits. (unreal) Each time I go to the lake this is my go to place. The Alabama biscuit company in Birmingham cant compete with this place. I would love to see a pimento cheese bacon egg or sausage pimento cheese and egg :) just an idea :) Thank you for such great food and friendly service.”

“The only thing about this McDonald's is you never know what kind of attitude is waiting for you when you get there. Some days the employees are out of sight and couldn't be any nicer, other days they sneer at you and look at you like they hate you. The fries were good this trip but I asked for ketchup and napkins, because my kids were eating them, and got neither. We only go through the drive through because the inside of this building is disgusting and has been the last 4 times we went in there. The bathrooms were awful and should have just been closed.”
