I know its first come first serve but it's barely an hour into open and were out already. “Just finished up here. Very convenient to I-65, nice, clean; with food as one would expect from Panera. However...the young lady that waited on us at the register and took our order was downright uninterested in us as customers. Didn’t ask if I was a Panera member, didn’t ask if I’d like desert, and just rushed us through with no one in sight waiting to order. After, I asked for a desert on my Panera discount, she informed that since she’d completed the transaction I would be charged the full amount. FAIL. Message to management...vet your employees to determine who will work best at the counter with customers. You’ll boost your sales guaranteed. Want a 5 star review? “I am a sandwich and wrap snob, and I almost never like it cold, but lunch box express is so fabulous that I've enjoyed every sandwich or wrap I've ever had cold or hot. Not only is it a small business owned by people that seem like the salt of the earth, each sandwich, no matter how large your order, tastes good every time. The employees are so friendly, and they are always so flexible. I would recommend this for any corporate lunch, picnic lunch, or better yet just pack it for a lake weekend. Better than any deli in all of Alabama.”

“I slept on this place last time I came to AL. I didn't try them as I thought they were going to be hard instead of soft and chewy. I was so wrong. These cookies are amazing!! I tried chocolate chip, nutella stuffed chocolate chip, and peanut butter. All were to die for. The choc chip was a little salty for my preference. The peanut butter was amazing!! The lady behind the counter was so helpful and sweet. They also sell the cookie dough by the pack so you can make your cookies at home”

“I friend of my sons told us about the Continental Bakery. This is now the ONLY place we go to for BAGELS in town! There is zero comparison as to the quality of Bagels, Scones, Danishes, Biscotti, and cinnamon rolls. Even old fashioned rolls. This place is a treat and and a reward. “Some of the best tacos in Shelby County if you're into authentic Mexican flavors. Excellent Chorizo (a.k.a.Longaniza), Borrego (Lamb), and Pollo Tacos. The Asada is pretty good too. I've never had Cuerito before eating it here, but it was pretty interesting. The Pastor and Carnitas were not that great, but the others more than made up for it. They have FIVE different salsas you can use as toppings. Most of them are quite spicy, so be prepared for that. My favorite was the yellowish green one with the black flecks in it, and the bright red one that didn't have any flecks in it. Combining those two together was awesome on the tacos. My favorite way to eat the Borrego tacos is with salt and the Guatamalan Picamas red sauce. (It is in a bottle). Fave way to eat the Chorizo is with their homemade orange salsa. Our preferred way to eat the Cueritas was just salt, no lime or salsa. The meats here are really juicy, enough that they get the tacos wet. That's one of the telltale signs of authentic Mexican tacos - you shouldn't need to drink something because the tacos give you all the moisture you need. My biggest criticism here is that they are inconsistent. Sometimes they will have a whole slew of salsas, sometimes you'll be lucky to find one or two. Sometimes the meat is amazing, sometimes it has been sitting out too long. Same for the veggies. The prices here are not the cheapest in town, and the atmosphere doesn't have the glitz of some of the more Americanized places, but if you're looking for quality ingredients and authentic flavors, this spot is a good place to find them.”
