“My trip to Marble Slab was a family trip that almost cause me to melt my ice cream. When we entered, there were about 4 or young ladies behind the counter but only 2 was really working. 2 of the young ladies were talking and after seeing my children come in, they look at each other and one acted like she was cleaning and the other went to the back like she was looking for something. I was immediately upset and if I had not had my children with me, I would have walked out. However, there is a happy ending, one of the ladies who was working must have noticed and greeted us and said, with a smile, I’ll take care of you. She was really pleasant and filled our orders and put smiles on my babies faces. I wish I would have got her name so that she could be recognized. I hope she got the tip I left and it wasn’t split.”

“I called ahead and reserved 2 sprinkle biscuits which came out to $5. The biscuits, environment, and service were great. They have microwaves available if you want to heat the biscuits up which I recommend. The only downside is that there are no sitting areas inside or outside of the shop. I highly recommend this little shop for the convenience, excellent service, and the very delicious biscuits at a reasonable price.”

“Rick's Chophouse is a gem in McKinney. This is our go to spot for Sunday brunch, or a fancy night out. First the Sunday Brunch: make a reservation! This is a popular brunch and it gets busy every Sunday. I'm not even sure they allow walk ins. The brunch is always great, with amazing fresh food. They have your typical eggs and bacon and such, along with seafood, prime rib, oysters, smoked salmon, soups, and southern comforts like Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and hash brown casseroles”

“This Dunkin has come a long way in the last 5 years I have lived in Tuscaloosa. Not too long ago service was slow and the employees acted as if they could care less about you. My last few trips have been great though. My coffee was made correctly and the staff was incredibly friendly”

“My favorite coffee place when my buck isn’t large enough for Starbucks. It is much cheaper than Starbucks and there are a lot more special flavors and drinks to choose from. They usually have different promotional flavors every month or two. They have food too like donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and cookies/brownies. My favorite is the iced caramel macchiato with sugar and extra caramel. My go to seasonal favorite is the caramel macchiato with sugar and pumpkin syrup. The service is usually pretty fast and the employees are friendly.”
