Ordered two meals and two beers, for delivery. Food was warm, juicy, and fries real good. Beers were cold and great. First time we ordered or ate their food.
Killer food at high but not horrific prices with an emphasis on local grown everything they can, a fine theater, and a good array of beers and two top-tier house-made sodas make this one of the best brewpubs in the city.
Be aware, the downstairs bar is open seating - be prepared to hunt for a seat. If you're willing to be patient, dining room reservations upstairs are lower stress but may take an hour or even two.
The venue is great and it offers a space for fantastic events. When the weather is good the roof top views are stunning and the beer is good. If you aren’t in a rush grab a beer and wait for a spot outside.
For food, I’m probably not ordering the right things but I have been underwhelmed. So far I’ve tried the elk burger, ox burger, pizza and everything has been just okay. When the price is factored in, even for AK, it slides to ‘meh’. Will try again I’m sure but not sure what to order.
Had an outstanding dinner here on the last night of our trip to Alaska. Definitely a popular place, but not too long a wait for dinner. Loved the Singapore-style King crab - the sauce was outstanding. Many interesting appetizers to choose from and a good mix of seafood and other dishes for our group.
