Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant

I cannot believe how good this place is. I've ordered it twice since the "hunker down" went in and it's just amazing. I dont know where you guys came from but I hope you're ok seeing my order on your screen once a week.

The food was good, but not great. I liked their guacamole (well seasoned, good flavor), their beans were also tasty. Their salsa needs work, mild is full of large green onion chunks and hot is too heavy on maybe cilantro (not sure if I'm getting the ingredient correct) but tasted just different and wasn't hot. Drinks were great, really enjoyed the ruby red grapefruit jalapeno margarita. The drink came with a large (1/2) jalapeno garnish twice, even though I asked for muddled slices (as described on the menu) instead. I thought this was wasteful and would rather they diced and cooked it. (Hey, it's difficult to find quality produce in Alaska!) Our server was friendly and only left us waiting for things a few times. I would give them another shot. They are still a bit new and may be working out some start up bugs. Overall, good experience.
