La Mex

This restaurant is as old as I am. That means that it has done a good job feeding the people of Anchorage and they've done it for a long time. It has that old Mexican Villa feel the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The Margaritas were yummy and the service was great. This was the first time that we've eaten at La Mex but it will not be the last. Very nice place to enjoy Mexican food

Food was hot, tasty and authentic. For Valentine's day they gave my husband and I complimentary mini chimichangas. Service was great.

This was kind of a mixed bag for me. I thought their chips were horrid: they were cold and thick, and not very flavorful. But then my lunch came, taco salad and tortilla soup. The soup was truly spectacular; I've had lots of varieties of this but this was by far the freshest and most flavorful I've had. My taco salad was great, too.

I LOVE this restaurant. I’ve been a steady costumer for three years. My favorite dish is the shredded beef enchiladas. They make the tortillas on site. There is a variety of dishes. They offer delicious adult beverages. The service is always friendly and professional. Two types of salsa and fresh chips accompany your meal from the start. Healthy philodendron and sombreros create a nice decor. There is a bar attached to the restaurant. The place is easy to find and there’s plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable. I encourage you to eat at this establishment and develop a craving for their tasty dishes.
