MISO Japanese sushi & bar

Unlike other large sushi restaurants, this is a little smaller with a much cozier feel. As soon as you step in, you're greeted with a Japanese welcome and a warm staff.

The chefs behind the counter are actually personable and funny. Building a relationship with them is half the fun of being there. If you want privacy, there's booths and tables you can sit away from the bar.

They have draft beer and other options. They seem to have the freshest food in town and also have different items on their menu that no other sushi restaurant offers.

The owner's presence is always felt and it's a business that's there to provide an experience to each customer.

We LOVE miso!! Favorite sushi restaurant for sure. They are SO consistent. They remember our order most the time when we go. Food is fresh and delicious. Staff is very friendly! And the prices are great too!

Restaurant had doors for quick entry into establishment. Floor was solid and easy to stand on. Food was visible. Service staff was alive and could speak.

There was metal in our food, not sure that's a common practice here, just thought it was worth sharing.

Perfect atmosphere. Casual but business casual friendly. Great staff. All friendly and helpful. Starter broth was great. Just like a Mexican restaurant gives you chips and salsa, here you get broth/tofu soup. It was good. The pricing ranges from 3 dollars for Edamame to 30+ for combo entree. I would come again but a big annoyance was that I was just starting my appetizer when they brought the rest of my meal to sit and get cold while I finished my entree. This is a serving no-no. Deduct 1 star.

We were greeted by all the staff as soon as we walked in, our server was just as friendly as our greeting! Made us feel like we were part of their little family. Delicious miso soup & a small, well dressed, light, salad was served first. Our appetizer came out promptly, fresh, & hot! The sushi we ordered was served shortly after, absolutely delicious & beautifully plated! This is definitely a new favorite sushi place!
