Petroleum Club of Anchorage

The Petroleum Club is pretty neat place to visit and has very good food. But be aware this is a membership club, so you need to either be a member or have a member invite you. I suspect if Anchorage was a bigger city, the club would be busy all the time.

The club has a nice ambiance and a full restaurant and bar. After-hour drinks here are pretty popular, especially for folks in the oil and gas industry. They also cater events here and offer full service from a lovely waitstaff.

My review is based on acting lunch here for a co-worker's birthday. Everyone agreed the food was mostly 4.5 and 5 star rated, and the food was very filling. But the one complaint that I heard from a few people is that the daytime service can be a bit slow. So just be sure to let them know if you are pressed for time.

Overall, it was a very nice lunch experience.

Always a good place to host something. The deck being open this summer has been fantastic.

Great place for business clients and a private place to dine . Also can socialize with other business people that may have similar careers or a great business connections.. membership is required. But worth joining
