Pho' Vietnam #3

Great food, wonderful service. Great value. I'll make this a regular dinner stop.

It was cold snowy Saturday afternoon and I didn’t want to go out but we needed cold medicine. When the temps are in the 20s it takes a while for the car to warm up. In fact it never did get warm and we were chilled to the bone. We need something hot, tasty, and filling to warm our souls and a large steaming bowl Pho from Pho Vietnam #3 was the answer.

The service was warm and within minutes I was enjoying a bowl of spicy noodle soup and my spouse was looking pretty happy with chicken pho.

We left warm, happy and ready to kick our colds.

My Anchorage friends recommended I come here and the pho I ordered was delicious due to the flavor of the broth. The service was fast and professional; I'm not sure if Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" song in the background is appropriate as I slurped my soup. I ordered the pho combination, with scallops and asked for an avocado shake with less sugar. The hostess complied and brought them out perfectly. As with most Alaskan Asian restaurants the seafood is boiled with little flavor to them so they taste bland, which isn't my favorite. It's a hit or miss up here compared to the lower 48 states.
