I LOVE the food here! Chicken Marsala is my favorite dish here, especially the golden raisins add a touch of sweetness! I can see why it's popular!
Beautiful interior that sets a nice mood whether you're there for a date or a family outing.
My favorite dessert is the S'more! I discovered this at one of the Kaladi Bros a few years back and I can't get enough of it!
The coffee crusted steak was phenomenal!!!! Highly recommended. We dined at this cozy establishment twice. The first time our server was amazing. The second time, we felt we were sort of an afterthought. Regardless, management helped resolve an issue with a generous resolution. Overall, great food and courteous staff.
One of my top favorite restaurants in Anchorage because the food is stellar (so it's worth a "nice" night out) but the atmosphere is super casual (so it's great for lunch meetings or casual dinners). The staff are always welcoming and the venue is one of my favorite physical spots in town. Mornings for coffee are superb.
This place was absolutely one of the best local restaurants I've ever tried in USA! Could not be happier with fish and gyro we ordered. The sauce they offer with dishes was something extremely tasty with the touch of dill, parsley, and avecado. The place was also amazing. It had a very cozy bar as well. Also, it has an open kitchen, meaning you can see what the cheif is cooking
We had an awesome time during a lunch visit. Atmosphere is very simplistic, inviting, and relaxed... the amount of wood is very cool.
All of the staff were great and very friendly to us. The seating upstairs has a pretty decent view and was cozy. Wait staff was super attentive and pleasant, not at all like what we read in some of the other reviews.
Food was excellent, and the menu choices are definitely unique. I liked the simplistic menu... they don't do a lot but it seems like everything they offer is made well. The bison sliders were fresh and flavorful. The gyro was packed with flavor and the lamb was on point. The highlight of the meal was the mac and cheese... truly an excellent dish and one we will probably crave again.
Alcohol selection is small but a lot of local drafts, prices very fair. I got one of the rotating "rare" selections, a mead that was very good.
This is one of the best spots in Anchorage. We loved it.
