Never messes up our orders. And the sushi is always freshly made..
My son and I went here on Valentines day because Ronnie 2 was packed. Im so glad that we did. The food was outstanding and the staff was great. We sat in front of the sushi chef and he was hilarious. Will definitely be going back. Hopefully the next time my husband will be able to join us.
Great place. My grandson loves the Philadelphia roll, smoked salmon, avocado and Philadelphia cheese. We had the bento box and udon soup. All very tasty and fresh. Prices are reasonable for the area and the wait staff very attentive and kind. As mentioned, a little dated interior, but clean.
I am on a quest to find the best sushi in Anchorage, and I think I did it. In fact, this is some of the best sushi I've ever had. I have eaten at many, many sushi restaurants in my life, and I've only ever thought three of those restaurants were good enough to come back to. Samurai Sushi will be the fourth addition to that list, and my new go-to. The flavors were bright, satisfying, and well balanced. The chef was friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed chatting with him while he worked on my food. I highly recommend the Muldoon roll. Pairing sushi with apple and a citrus salad was a new experience, but works amazingly well.
Samurai Sushi was the choice for lunch today. This place has been established for quite some time now and has never displeased. Friendly staff, good sushi and a full menu to choose from. The lunch boxes are great but if your hungry I'd recommend the Samurai Special Lunch. This place is relatively inexpensive but you can easily make that check grow big exponentially.
If your out and about seeking a new lunch place and feel like some far east feast, I recommend giving this place a whirl.
