After my recent foray into a day of death by yard work I treated myself to dinner by delivery. Tried a new place that I had never heard of. I may have died and gone to heaven. Spicy Korean pork taco? Yes please!!! Seared shrimp taco with spicy Asian slaw? Of stinken course!!! And three words that I didn’t know I needed until I heard them: Bulgogi. Fried. Rice.
You heard me.
Seriously, some of the best food I have had recently! If you live or are visiting Anchorage and do not try the food at this place, you are not living your best life.
Delicious and unique in it's flavor profile, Seoul Casa it's a great hidden gem. The fusion tacos and burrito were fantastic. They were a near perfect blend of sweet, spicy and savory with a unique flavor profile I feel like I've never tasted before. Top the meal with some Soju, and you'll be in for a good time. I feel like it had my new favorite burrito in town, early my top 3 in the US. Karaoke also available. Only downside, it's decor is Spartan and service, though attentive, was slow.
There's a ton of parking in the lot the service is also great and the interior is spacious and clean. The food is price at a very reasonable cost and quite delicious. They really don't have too much on their menu however that makes a simple for anyone to find something that they like.
Amazing atmosphere. Food is crazy good. The crab Rangoon... Not my thing. The beers are amazing as usual with anchorage. Staff is quite busy and not very interested in talking about anything beyond business (I understand but dang) we may be back.
It is refreshing to see a new restaurant that incorporates Mexican and Korean food. A great addition to the Dimond area that does not have too many restaurants. I recommend the Three Amigos if you want to try their tacos for the first time. The cheesesteaks are my go-to if I am really hungry. Fruity Ball is what's for dessert... fried ice cream covered and stuffed with fruity pebbles! Great variety of beers and soju on tap that goes perfectly with the best crispy fried chicken in town.
