Southside Bistro

Family got the curbside takeout tonight. Whole process, including Amanda’s wine pick, was fantastic. Food, as always, excellent. Angel hair pasta one of our favorites.

My husband and I just did a “take out” dinner that was nothing but amazing. We will continue to support our favorite bistro. Thank you Jens and your staff for you kindness and tasty eats.

Like many hidden gems in Anchorage, you sometimes have to search nondescript strip malls to find a diamond in the rough. Southside Bistro is an excellent European-style bistro and restaurant located in a strip mall in south Anchorage in the Huffman neighborhood, somewhat hidden off the main drag. There is a beautiful open kitchen, delicious food, great service and a very expansive wine list. Highly recommend

Exquisite. Had an appetizer and 1 dessert item, both had incredible smell and flavor. Photos speak for themselves ! Sat at the bar and noticed all the Servers had good attitudes towards one another even when one was starting to worry about an order. This is a fine dining experience with an open kitchen view to the right and a wine bar with additional seating to the left. Come here for those classy one on one dates or just a good savory bite to eat after a long day.
