Great service. Andrew was pretty lit too

It was nice walking into a Wendy's restaurant that didn't smell like the cleaner used in the dining room as well as the restrooms. Good job.
On another note. Staff was friendly and helpful. Presentation was good

I prefer the old Wendy's logo and was excited to see the classic signage. In fact, the interior was like a time capsule. The walls, chairs, etc. were all the old style.

The manager was working the counter and did everything textbook perfectly. Greeted me when I walked in, spelled names correctly, and was VERY fast. He loaded the food into a bag perfectly and then cups and bag neatly onto a cup carrier. There wasn't so much as a wrinkle in the bag.

My burger was the best-looking I've ever had: it actually looked like the photos. It tasted normal (which is good). The Frostees tasted a little off to me. I like the ones from Wendy's in Manhattan better, but perhaps my taste buds were miscalibrated after a grueling trip.

Anyway, highly recommend.

If you're in the Spenard area this is the only Wendy's near you.

The food tastes great, but I have two suggestions that will make your visit even better.

1. Avoid the shift change time between 5-6 PM. If the night shift employees are not on time then you'll have a 5 minute wait until an employee takes your order and a 15 minute wait to get your food. During the shift change the manager is doing inventory, so this also slows things down.

2. Use the Drive Thru. The Drive Thru is the priority over dine-in guests.

I noticed one employee had his music playing through his earphones while making the food and packaging it.

In my opinion this was the slowest service of all Wendy's restaurants in Anchorage, but the food tasted great.
