“A great hotel right on historic Allen Street! The hotel is essentially a 4 bedroom house, with living room and full kitchen. Rooms 1 and 4 have private baths, while rooms 2 and 3 have private vanities and showers, but share a toilet. Very clean. The patio allows you to look down on the dirt street and wooden boardwalks, and look directly across at the historic Bird Cage Theater. The 1st floor has pool tables, an arcade, pies, pizza, and ice cream! They really take care of you!!”

“Soul Food Therapy is OUTSTANDING! The restaurant owner (Ms Hopkins) and her staff are attentive, on the ball, polite, and great for recommendations of dishes to try. And they have occasional “dinner specials” too; just ask! My wife and I had an excellent salmon entree with three sides: green beans, dirty rice, and red skinned mashed potatoes. And a square of corn bread too. Excellently presented and tasty! The fare is very reasonable since the meal includes the entree, a drink, three sides of your choice, and corn bread. We love the low-key, non-rushed, quiet ambiance of the dining room which leads to a relaxing dinner event. Desserts are available and if desired, they can be taken “to go.” A 5-Star Restaurant!”

“There coffee is really good best in town my only issue is that I live in whetstone so it's far from me. I Originally Gave it one star but it was not because of there coffee it was because I won a gift card that could not be used but the owners fixed the problem and sent me a new card that would work they were having problems with there old system so for that I changed to 5 stars for getting back to me and giving me the right gift card. “The coffee and food is delicious. The owners are husband and wife team, Thomas and Sara, and they are friendly and knowledgeable. I love the dog friendly patio and the community feel here. You can order coffee, espresso, Italian soda, chai or other cool drinks like an Italian soda with espresso or a chocolate malt soda. They also make their own vanilla syrup. If you are craving food...the eggs are delicious. The watermelon soup is mouthwatering and their pastries are heavenly. 🙌🙌🙌I would give them more stars if I could.”

The environment was just really nice...”
