I can see y’all are still working out the kinks because it’s a new store. May I share my thoughts ?
I’m a local and it’s beyond disappointing to have such a small chick fil a on this side of town with no play area. My lord - it’s a mountain town and we need indoor play areas for families - this is such a bummer. I do understand there isn’t anything complaining will do about those things and the staff are most definitely not responsible for those choices.
As a new store ; I’m hopeful the friendliness of the drive-through folk will improve - as “I don’t know what to tell you “ “ oh Kay then” - though said with a smile- are not what I would consider polite or respectful in the service industry. 🙃 No one has to say “my pleasure “ but I almost drove away from how bizarre and rude my interaction with the girl who was working drive thru Monday afternoon, March 4th.
Also- I asked for a menu in which she replied “they all blew away, I don’t know what to tell you “
I should have said “okay then “ 😂 NOT HER LOL
So I replied “no worries “ & opened my app and looked over the menu there instead.
Got my order quick, window staff was pretty friendly- you can tell there is a bit of tension floating around - I hope things get smoother for this store as they get more established!
This chick fil a is not like any other I’ve been to. The dining room is tiny to make room for a gigantic kitchen which I’m sure is great for the staff but not for the guests. Aldo, there’s no play place for the kids.
On this particular day there was only one person at the register and while she was doing a great job, the line took 15 minutes for me to order. Meanwhile, no supervisor or any one came out to open the other register but someone kept peeking around the corner to announce to the kitchen and drive through that they “Have a full house!” Which they yelled out multiple times while I was in line.
The food was excellent though and the staff I interacted with was friendly.
Not sure if they’re working out the bugs of being brand new but I will be going to the restaurant on the West side exclusively.
We ordered a kale salad and some fried nuggets, when the food arrived we got grilled nuggets instead of fried and normal salad instead of kale salad. We decided to go to the ordering area to tell them the mistake they made. They brought out the food and included a cookie as an apology. Now the waiters here are pretty young, so you may expect them to be nervous and probably mistake your order. However the food was great, it was warm and tasty.
