Sonic Drive-In

This is going to sound like the most petty review of all time, but if someone actually reads these and sincerely cares, my feedback may be helpful. I visited today. The order taker was a bit short with me when I asked a question but maybe it was a bad connection. No big deal. My food came out and I paid cash. For some reason the sonic staff guy did not give me change. I sat there for a while thinking maybe he had to get change inside but he never returned. Again, annoying but not the end of the world. Hopefully he needed it more than I did. Just before I decided to leave I discovered that a mistake was made and I received the wrong drink. After a minute of confusion a staff member came to my vehicle to understand the issue and quickly corrected the problem. For some reason that I still cannot understand, they would not take the first beverage back when I asked. I was told it was against policy. It is against policy to take an incorrectly delivered item from a customer? I did not want it, I did not have room for it, but now I am forced to find a suitable location in my vehicle to keep 2 large sonic cups without spilling until I get to a place where I can dispose of it. I left feeling frustrated. It is so easy to fix these minor service opportunities. All it starts with is care. Did it ruin my day? No. Are there bigger issues to deal with in the world? Absolutely.

the mic was broke so the girl came out n took our order. i never got a receipt n the order was a little.scrambled but we received everything that was ordered just on the wrong items n some stuff we did not order like pickles n onions but the food we received was enjoyable n the customer service was great, but when the kid says he has to go inside to get my even five dollars in change, n i ask him if they don't let him come out with change any more, he says its easier to go BACK in ,get change, n then come back out, but then after i said something he pulls out a five dollar bill n waits for a sec as if to receive a tip....... i felt like saying he had to go in to get change was him looking for "keep the change"
but then i said something so he magically produced some change n then he gave no ones but then expects a tip, n for what handing me my order n making me feel like he's trying to work me for my five bucks........

Good food....but ruined the experience with SUPER slooooooowww service.

My kids love there wise variety of drinks. Love the blue coconut with nerds. My 3 yo son fave so far. Cherry Limeade always a must for my daughter and I.
