Macayo's Mexican Food

I was there on Wednesday. I took my kid to lunch for lunch for kids day and he had a blast! He colored and ordered the cheese crisp. The waitress was attentive and even joked with my son. I will be back soon!!

Came to kick off a date night with my beautiful wife! Adrian gave us awesome and fast service and was super nice. The food was great. We ordered the combo plate because we couldn’t pick an appetizer, it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back soon!

I finally got to try this new location out. It was okay food. I don't really think I'll be going back anytime soon. The waitress we had was very friendly and sweet and very attentive. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito. Good flavor on meat maybe a little over cooked but okay and bean were good..rice on the other hand was not bad just a different flavor for my liking. Nice atmosphere. Chips and salsa were great. I did order a margarita and it was very good.

I made an online reservation and even though they were swamped, they honored it. At the time I made the reservation, people were on an hour wait list. We were told the kitchen staff was short handed and our food still came out quickly! Our entire order was correct and hot. Our server Nikki was great!! Staff was extremely compassionate, friendly and helpful. The taste of our food was 10/10. Hands down our new favorite Macayos spot.

The new Avondale location is bright, shiny & new. We were acknowledged and seated right away. Attentive & friendly staff. Love the decor in the restaurant & bathrooms.
