World of Sourdough Avondale

Wife and I randomly tried this place today. It was very good! The house bread is EXCELLENT! I had the Turkey and Dry Salami and I will surely go back for a second! The Creamy Tomato soup was also fantastic! I highly recommend this place! I left a very satisfied customer.

We had decided on sandwiches for dinner and we're actually headed somewhere else the night we stopped in. I am glad we did.

The staff was very friendly. And the food was very good. I have a picky teenager when it comes to food and they liked their sandwich and would gladly go back.

The sourdough baguette that was used for the sandwiches was soft and tasty. The sauerkraut for my Pastrami Ruben had a sour kick (in a good way), but it didn't overpower the sandwich.

The Cream of Potato Soup hit the spot, too. It was the perfect temperature to eat and it didn't seem like it had been sitting there all day. Very tasty.

We plan to go back.

Stopped by looking for some Sourdough bread, the employees were super helpful, very attentive and got me fresh baked sourdough baguette. It smelled so good that we were tempted to get a sandwich. We will def be back to try them out! The young men in and gal were very courteous. Great job!

It was genius to make a sandwich place with all sourdough! Best sandwiches we’ve ever had. Tried the Caprese and the Turkey. Absolutely outstanding! The spreads they use are delicious! My boyfriend gets the French dip and says it’s the best he’s ever had! Their sides of ranch are tasty as is their Mac n cheese. Can’t wait to try out a bread bowl soup. Owner is incredibly nice and another reason we keep coming back.
