IHOP

IHOP has stolen my heart! I have always been a hard line Dennys lady. Recently, I have gone to IHOP on two different locations, Phoenix and Gilbert with friends. I am very impressed with the consistency and quality and tastefulness of the food. Sometimes one location has a better dining experience than another. Not so here at IHOP! Food was great! Presentation was amazing! Portions hearty, cooked very well and tasted delicious. Rarely have I seen food looking exactly like the menu picture when served. I have had two great experiences dining at IHOP...I definitely will be choosing them as a regular go to for meals.

Great place for pancakes late night. Establishment is clean well taken care of. Staff was friendly and helpful. Five Stars!!!

The server is the only reason I rated this 3 stars and not 2. Only patrons in the establishment and my hash browns were COLD & overcooked. I thought I was going to chip a tooth they were so crunchy. Didn't finish them. Server did attempt to have them remade however; I wasn't in the mood for just potatoes.

3-star rating is due to long wait times at this location. However, slow service is not the servers fault, rather management's. This place is usually extremely understaffed and way too busy to have only a couple servers for the entire building with no hostess greeting up front. This really affects the time it takes to be sat, get your order taken, get your food, get the check, and then again to be rung up.

We were here last night and it got to the point where several customers chose to leave both before and after they were sat, the majority of the customers who didn't leave were extremely irate and taking it out on the two servers who were tending to greeting, seating, serving, running and ringing up. A back of the house employee came up a few times to help greet and seat guests which was cool but the manager was nowhere to be found despite numerous requests from customers to speak to a manager. I would like to add that in the midst of everything, the servers and BOH employees each kept smiles on their faces and never once lost grace under the intense pressure they were under.

Management, I have noticed this is a recurring issue here and it is very unfair to your staff... It also drives customers away. You definitely need to find a solution.

I went in to view new menu items, my greeter Joey was pleasant, approachable and greeted me with a smile. My order was handed to me in a favorable time with my side items as I requested. I was quite pleased with the togo service and with Joey. Kudos to him and to IHOP!
