Circle K

The African American woman (who in a review from 3 weeks ago is shown in a photo smoking a cigarette while holding the cups she's about to stock) is either rude or has no interest in her job (which is not good for someone working face to face with customers). Any time I've gotten her as my cashier she is just not social at all. Which, fine, not the biggest deal. However today I'm standing in line, 2 minutes go by and she's at the side register (which unless you step out of line, you cant see someone at). I lean in towards the man in front of me at the register (awkward) when I see her step back to look at the line at the register I'm at. We make eye contact and I ask if she's open. Ignored. So the man behind me basically cuts and goes over to be helped. Guess I'll wait another 2 minutes at the register I'm at. Maybe I wouldn't be so irritated if I thought it was an accident, but having dealt with her and her poor customer service skills before, along with her incredible lack of enthusiasm when doing her job and acting as the cashier, I have a feeling she knew I asked but just didnt care. But had I stepped out of line and found out she wasnt open, I would have been stuck another 5 minutes. Wasnt worth that risk when I've got dogs in the car and want to be in and out. Lastly, she shouldnt be smoking in front of the building (always by the emergency shut off switch, on the way to the door from the parking). It's rude if someone has to walk passed her, and it's inappropriate for an on shift employee (or any employee in their work attire) to smoke where customers can see them. It's unprofessional.
