Batchelor's Pad BBQ

It's 11:30 on a Saturday morning. First customer of the day. It's just me. I see a well-decorated (and man-decorated) establishment. Wouldn't have to make excuses to bring anyone here. It feels like a family-run place. Everyone's cheerful, engaging, not too busy to say hello, check on my experience, and ask if they can get me anything. It feels comfortable and welcoming. Might be my regular bar and restaurant (if I lived here, I'm just visiting).
The food was also something to write home about. The lady who took my order said that food came from the town farmers market that very morning, so I had high expectations. The Batchelor's Pad didn't disappoint. The food was simple, creative, and memorable. Sweet Jalopeno Slaw? Don't knock it...
I'll be back.

Very good but a bit in consistent, sometime turkey a bit dry... Others.. The best I've ever had! Love the "too hot 4 Mary" sauce!. Great family atmosphere. Good service. Surprisingly reasonable prices!

Absolutely amazing! The food was so good! We got brisket, pulled pork and a couple sides and they all were delicious! The bbq sauces are so tasty and unique too. Lastly, the staff were so welcoming and helpful, you can tell that they're a team and care to give their guests a good dining experience. They also keep it really clean! 5/5, highly recommend!!!

Wonderful service, we were asked many times how was our food and each time the person asking seemed genuinely interested in our feedback. We all had bites of the brisket, ribs, Mac n cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread and each were delicious! We also had an order of the cherry cheesecake and banana pudding and they were amazing. Overall a wonderful experience, with great food and service, and good prices for Fountain Hills!

We make it a point to eat once a week here. Coming from Texas this place is the best barbecue I have found yet in Arizona. They definitely are in contention with little miss barbecue. I'm a huge potato salad fan and they hit the spot. Staff and owner are top notch and always welcome you with casual conversation. I recommend stopping by and giving it a shot!

I love BBQ, I have eaten up and down the east coast and the south. I went for a little of everything. BBQ TACOS were very large/filling/moist and delicious. Also DINNER 4-2 : PORK AND BRISKET... BRISKET has an amazing smokey flavor. Pork was moist and tender. I tried 3 sauces and all have great flavor and do not override the meat. Had one of their whisky signature drinks ( the take on the old fashioned) was very good and smooth. Staff all seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to coming here again in the future to try other items. They are very Veteran friendly and shows with the memorabilia from there father and grandfather behind the bar. See you all in the future for many more meals.
