Sal's Gilbert Pizza

Best Italian food, pizza found in AZ. The food is the freshest and most delicious every time I go there which is all the time! I am originally from NY which is where you can find best foods of many verities, nationalities. They have many excellent pizza places as we call them and Sal’s can be rated equally with the best places! The food is made fresh and I have never been dissatisfied! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly. I have never been there and not seen Sal! His family owns and runs their business like they’re making food for their own family! So if your in for really delicious food and more than a reasonable price go there! I highly recommend them! If you have to wait a little while for a table it definitely be worth your time!

Delicious place! Guy Fury has been here and tasted the uniqueness of each bite prepared in the authentic, tuscan-styled kitchen. The pizza, both thick and thin, is fantastic and the wings rain down every corner of the restaurant. God bless. And remember that their garlic knot gods have sprinkled their magic on Sal's doe.

I absolutely love this place. It's prices are a bit cheaper than olive garden, and the food is wonderful, and I always walk home with leftovers. The staff is attentive and every now and then the owner will come out from the kitchen to greet customers. I've tried most of the menu and there isn't a single thing I've disliked, only food that's more addicting than others. The garlic knots alone are worth a visit, but everything is delicious.

Sal's is popular for a reason. Delicious pizza and friendly service. We had the Supreme pizza which had the right amount of toppings on the hand tossed crust and the Pepperoni. Our server was very attentive. Good beer selection and delicious sangria.

Friendly staff greeted us and we were seated quickly. Server brought some complimentary garlic twists and sauce for snacking while we looked at menu. We decided on a supreme pizza, regular crust. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste and the crust, while tasty, was just okay. I would have loved to try the thick Sicilian crust but the garlic twists were good. It looked like they had several signature dishes that might be worth checking out next time.
