Fantastic Chicago Style Hot Dogs! Lots of other Chicago style food available too like beef, sausage, tamales, too much to list. The food is always hot and fresh. If you love the Chicago Hot Dog Stand food or have never been to Chicago to try it, this place is for you. A place that will bring you back to "Sweet Home Chicago"!!
My mom and I were driving through Gilbert we left a restaurant because all we wanted was a good old fashioned hot dog with people that were zero b.s and out of nowhere as I was flying down the road i noticed Higley! Omg what a place I’m happy I flew over 3 lanes just to get there haha! The beautiful woman who was “manning” the cash was absolutely amazing she was funny and exactly what people should be greeted with. If you are not familiar with this place please...stop and get a real hot dog with real people
This is the best hands down place to get a great hotdog. Fire dog fully loaded and fries is something that everyone should try. This is a family owned business that has been around quite a while.
This place has been around forever, can't believe it's taken me this long to get there. I will tell you that I wish I'd gone a long time ago, been missing out on some dam good hot dogs. Tried the fire dog with the works and dam it was good, had a little kick to it but not overwhelming heat, just enough to make the ice cold root beer that much better. Next time I'm going for the chili cheese dog n fries(cause the guys at the next table had some and they looked tasty). I think it's a family run operation, the lady that helped me was super friendly, a small bright yellow building with a giant Higley hot dog and a house outback, parking for a dozen or so cars, indoor and outdoor seating, and walk up order and pick up windows make for a great atmosphere and that old skool hot dog stand feel.
Outstanding service, & a fun location. The lady taking the orders was very patient and polite while helping figure out what the kids wanted on the hotdogs. The hot dogs were great, I especially liked the spicy dog with sport peppers! There are not many places you could take the whole family for a quick bite without spending over $20. We will definitely be back for more.
