The Hop Stop Diner

Food was good. Normal diner food. Size of garden salad for the price (4.99) was awesome. I would have given more stars but the customer service and attitude from server was kind of rude.

LOVE Andrea and her staff! Great homey environment with excellent food and very clean throughout. I love the pasta salad because it's never the same bit always delicious, my kids love The Elvis and the peanut butter and nutella sandwich. I like the turkey sandwich (I wish I knew what they do to the bread... It's SO good) and my husband has a great time trying all their specials.

This is an old school diner. I had a Turkey burger and tortilla soup and both were excellent. Fries were got and crisp too. Took home cookies and had a coffee to go and again both were excellent. I loved the feel of the place, like the diner when I was a kid in Chicago. The lady that served us was friendly and nice, she did it all, waited tables and worked the register for walk ups and take outs. She was great.

I've been coming here for a couple of years now. I usually get the daily special. Yesterday it was Chicken Pot Pie which I tried for the first time. It was delicious. My favorite is the Fried Shrimp on Fridays. I return when I feel liking having some good home cooking. One of the top places to eat in downtown Glendale.
