“We came in for dinner on a busy Friday night. We waited for a bit for our food, which was understandable for it being busy. The food but was delicious & we loved it. We were wanting to come back here again, but the reason why I’m giving it three stars was the off-putting comment by the server. After bringing us back our card and receipt, she casually mentioned to us that she only gets “cash tips” but isn’t able to keep her tips left on a card. I’m not sure if all the servers split tips, but it was not an appropriate thing to say.”

“I normally enjoy a hearty meal after visiting Vitalant. Need to replace all those nutrients with a good meal. I never knew this place existed. It is hidden away on the inside of the elbow of this strip mall. It was very slow when I arrived around 6:30 on a Wednesday evening. That gave me a pick of the plan e for seating. The menu is quite diverse and has many options besides fried dishes. I ordered the fish and and shrimp and chips meal. It was prepared quickly, but there were only one other party on site. The meal was cooked perfectly. First was flavor and shrimp were done up right. I thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail sauce because it was heavy on the horseradish. All in all this is a great place to enjoy some delicious water meat.”

“We recently moved to Goodyear from Portland, OR. We have been trying different Thai places to find the best one. THIS IS THE ONE! Service is always good, we eat here about once a week, sometimes twice a week. We have never had a bad meal ever. Give this place a shot. They are open all day, seven days a week and even on Sundays (some Asian/Thai places are closed in between lunch and dinner and some are closed Sundays/Mondays, not this place)! I have ordered probably 12 different dishes and they have all been super yummy!”

Called four shops all together - basically was laughed at, but Sugar & Spice.... on POINT. They made it soooooo blissful, AND BEST PART???? They were able to provide VARIETY!!!!!!!!! Wow. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! That pretty much bought my loyalty. Love that they were ready to make that money and help out!!!!!! “Daughter and I went for a dinner. The wait was little long. I can say it was well worth the wait. Food was awesome, Lobster Fest I had something Lobster in Paradise. It was baked with a crust coconut Jamaican spice just awesome. Salad was very fresh should have read Lobster shrimp fest. “While we were driving down the freeway we saw this on Google maps and I posted a question online if they were dog friendly and in less than 5 minutes the owner had responded saying that they love dogs. So we pulled off the freeway and had a great meal on their shaded dog-friendly patio. They have a very good selection of beer on tap. The noise from the car wash next door was noticeable. But that really did not affect our dining experience at all. The menu has a good selection of comfort food pizzas, hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads.we ordered a steak sandwich and a hamburger and both were cooked medium rare as we ask. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs.”

“I was recently in line to make a carry out order for breakfast for several people, with special requests. The cashier taking my order was named Taylor. She was phenomenal! Professional and personable! She helped me with my order. Had no problem with my 'special food allergy needs.' Offered the best way to get what I wanted at the best price. Smiled. Introduced herself. Asked my name.... which made me feel valued. Repeated back my lengthy order as if it was NO PROBLEM! I ended up with great food and a great feeling! Can't ask for more than that from a restaurant! I walk in and I'm not sure if they're open or closed. The door is unlocked and lights are on but it literally takes minutes for someone to come out from the back before being greeted and have my order taken. Also the cleanliness of the restaurant itself needs improvement.”

The food was good although the meats (the Sunrise Sampler comes with ham, sausage, and bacon) were all overcooked and dry. Everything else though was quite tasty. “I've waited a long time for a really great BBQ place! I finally found it, Dickey's BBQ in Goodyear. The meat is mouthwatering & the BBQ sauce is FANTASTIC!!!! They even have a sweet BBQ sauce also.
