Applebee's Grill + Bar

Service was good. The meals were adequate. Shrimp and chicken meal was good. The shrimp could have been cooked a bit longer. Steak and fries were lack luster. Fries could have been cooked longer. Better at Outback. Worse at Applebee's on Southern. Gut feeling:
overpriced and overrated.

I used to be a fan the burbon street steak.
I haven't had one in about 7 yrs. I get one now and it was not the same. Just a decent steak and mashed potatoes. Plate Looked very plain and non attractive for $15.00. I wanna say that their quality may have gone down over the years. But seems to be the case with a lot of restaurants that have been around a while.

They lose their touch. Buy over all not to bad an experience.

I had a 2 for $20 all to myself. My waitress Babbette was AWESOME, she made sure to place my food orders slowly so I would not get overwhelmed with food on the table. The entire place was busy but Babbette checked on me frequently and made sure I had all I needed. She even made sure my food was prepared just the way I wanted it. I had a GREAT dinner, and even better dining experience thanks to a GREAT WAITRESS who took the time to make sure I was taken care of and totally satisfied with my dinner.

Our waitress Holly was incredible. I can’t say enough good things about our interaction with her this evening. She was very friendly and accommodating; making sure my kids had a couple snacks while they waited for their food. Holly was on top of everything, making sure drinks were filled and asking if there was anything else she could get us. Holly was so incredibly personably and easy to talk to - we left feeling like we had known her for years. Thank you Holly for making our dine in experience so great.

I came in for Happy hour and I was happy indeed. They have a great sale on soup and salad so i was fed warm good soup and beer for a great fare. I think I will be back again as the staff was friendly and the food was good. I think they could work on cleaning a little more and although my bartender was awesome when around a little overwhelmed by the number of tables and patrons she had.
